Student Choreography Showcase Auditions
Dancers ages 9+ may audition with a self-choreographed piece to perform in this showcase. Dances may be solo, duo, trio, or group, from 1:00-2:30 minutes, with family-friendly music & choreography. Dances should be stage-ready by audition time. Dancers can sign up for an audition time slot at the front desk starting on December 9th. Performance for accepted dances will be February 2nd.

Women's Self-Defense Master Class
EGD is thrilled to offer this one-time-only self-defense class featuring Gracie Jiu Jitsu's Owner & Head Instructor, Jenn Gray. Build confidence and awareness in this two hour course, where you can learn to set boundaries, detect predators, manage distance, learn assertive communication, and many other key self-defense techniques.

Recital Costume Fees Due
Recital costume fees are due in full by December 10th.*
Half of these fees can be paid by November 10th, to help make payments easier.

There is a $20 late fee per costume for late payments. No exceptions.

EGD at Folklife Festival
Join us at the Oklahoma Historical Society’s Folklife Festival! Our Flamenco, Mexican Folklorico, Tap, and Scottish Highland dancers will take the stage at 12:45 and 2pm. We can’t wait to see you there!
Annual Company Parent Meeting
Company members & their parents will meet on August 31st to discuss the season’s schedule of performances, competitions, fundraising, and more! This meeting is mandatory for all company members and a parent or guardian.
Call for Volunteers--We Are Moving!
We are moving and need your help! Right now construction & renovation are underway, but when that is completed, we need all the help we can get with the move-in process! We will be cleaning, painting, building dance floors, moving boxes, and much more. If you want to help us, please click the link below to input your availability, as well as any notes on what you’d like to help with. We appreciate you—every little bit helps!
Company Audition Prep Classes & Auditions
Prospective company members will attend company prep classes & auditions within the same weekend. The schedule is below. There is a $25 fee per company the dancer wishes to audition for. Results will be emailed out the following week after the auditions. Please note that audition prep & audition times are different from actual company class times.
2024-2025 Dance Season Begins
Classes for our 2024-2025 dance season begin on August 10th!
We will still be at our Plaza location for the first 2 weeks of classes. Our move-in date of our new location at 922 NW 5th we anticipate to be August 26th.
