I would like to first thank all of you who kept Shannon and our family in your prayers, everyone who called, visited, sent cards and flowers, brought food, stepped in to help where needed. Our family is grateful for your loving kindness. Shannon was very touched by the outpouring of love that she received during her illness. She told me countless times how much she loved each of you and how grateful she was to have the privilege of teaching her students. Most of all, she wanted all of you to keep dancing and keep striving for excellence.
Taking over Everything Goes Dance Studio is a big challenge. My goal is to carry on this tradition of excellence. Some things will change – this is inevitable. My promise to you is that we will continue to deliver top-notch instruction to all our students and to uphold Shannon’s legacy of doing our very best.
Despite the sadness we all feel, Shannon wanted most of all for us to carry on. With your help, we will all do exactly that. I am grateful for every one of you and I am looking forward to new opportunities to learn, grow, and most of all, to dance.\
Love – Erika Carmen Reyes
