How do I register
for classes?Check out
our schedule and choose the classes you're interested in. Come by the
Studio during classes (check our
schedule page or phone 525.1000) to meet with the staff and take a look around. Choose
your classes, fill out the registration form, pay your fees and
you're in! If you're registering for intermediate or advanced
classes, you will need to arrange an audition with the director or
teacher to ensure that you're enrolled in the proper level of
study.

What kind of
shoes and clothing are required?Check out our Student
Information pages for a list of the types and colors of
dance shoes, leotards, tights and other apparel that are required
for each class.
Do I belong in a
beginning, intermediate or advanced class?Good question! Each dancer, each dance
school is different. The best way for us to place dancers in the
appropriate classes is for you to take a class. The teacher will
evaluate the student and recommend placement. Since it's
both frustrating and can lead to injury to dance at a technical
level you're not prepared for, it's important for you and the rest
of the class that every dancer to be placed at the appropriate
level.
How old do you
have to be to enroll? How young?
We offer classes for dancers
age 3 through adult. Nobody is too old to dance! Many
classes include adult students and there are several classes just
for adults. Dancing is a great way to have fun and get a great
workout at the same time. We even have several "just for fun"
classes where students will not perform, so don't let a touch of
stage fright keep you from dancing.
The exception is Latin dance, where students must be at least 15 years
old.
I'd like to join
one of your performing companies. What do I have to
do?We actually
have several dance companies: our professional company, Flamenco
Fantastico, and our junior Flamenco Fantastico. If you'd like to join either company, talk to
Shannon about auditioning.
